What does the Bible say about being an introvert?
Here's the answer:
God loves people with all personality types.
You may have heard your friends refer to themselves as an introvert or an extrovert. Being an introvert or an extrovert is based on a person’s personality. Introverts tend to be more focused on their inner world and may come across as shy—even though not all introverts are shy. Extroverts are people who love to be around others, like to talk, and enjoy being social. Being an introvert or an extrovert is not a bad thing. God loves people with all personality types. He can use all of us!
God created all people unique, including you. If you are an introvert, don’t be ashamed of it. Introverts often have amazing strengths like being self-aware, creative, and are often happy with one or two close friendships. Some introverts struggle with being around others, not being able to speak up when they need to, and going through periods of being alone. If you struggle in these ways, ask God to help you.
Some introverts tend to spend a lot of time alone, and this can useful if done in the correct way. Instead of sitting alone in your room, talk with God. If being around people drains your social battery, remember God never will. Use your alone time to talk with God in prayer and to read the Bible. As introverts, we can be adventurous sometimes and talk with others, but we should never feel ashamed for being an introvert.
Many of the greatest artists, musicians, and poets were introverts. God can and will use all people to do His will. This includes both extroverts and introverts.

"But he said to me, 'My grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.' So I am very happy to brag about how weak I am. Then Christ's power can rest on me" (2 Corinthians 12:9).
