Can I see Jesus?
Here's the answer:
Jesus is in heaven with God, but He didn’t leave you alone! The Holy Spirit is with you.
We have all heard so many stories about Jesus and we would all love to meet Him, to actually see Jesus like the disciples did.
As we read about Jesus in the Bible, the story of His time on earth ends as He rises into heaven right before His disciples’ eyes. Then two angels promise that Jesus will return to earth someday. Acts 1:11 says, "'Men of Galilee,' [the angels] said, ‘why do you stand here looking at the sky? Jesus has been taken away from you into heaven. But he will come back in the same way you saw him go.'"
The disciples were not left all alone. Instead, Jesus kept His promise to be with them always. He sent His Holy Spirit to guide and keep His disciples.
Now instead of being swarmed by huge crowds and having to move from town to town to see people, Jesus’ presence would be with every one of His children!
This is great news! If Jesus were on earth now in physical form, we would have to travel across the world to see Him and even then we might never get right up close because the crowds would be too big. But now all those who trust and believe in Him can inherit the same promise the disciples had—that Jesus’ presence will be with us always by the power of His Holy Spirit.
One day, we will all see Jesus face to face in heaven! What a wonderful day that will be! Until then, we can still smile and enjoy His company, knowing He is with us like a best friend every single day.

"Then Jesus told him, 'Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen me but still have believed'" (John 20:29).
"If you love me, obey my commands. I will ask the Father. And he will give you another friend to help you and to be with you forever. That friend is the Spirit of truth. The world can’t accept him. That’s because the world does not see him or know him. But you know him. He lives with you, and he will be in you" (John 14:15-17).
