Did God know Adam and Eve would sin?
Here's the answer:

Yes, God knows everything before it even happens.
God knows all things. 1 John 3:20 says, "...God is greater than our hearts. And he knows everything." He knew Adam and Eve would sin (Genesis 3).
The good news is that God already had a plan for after Adam and Eve sinned. When God punished the serpent, He said, "...Her son will crush your head. And you will bite his heel" (Genesis 3:15). In the future, someone from Adam and Eve’s family would crush Satan. Who? Jesus, who is God. Romans 16:20 says, "The God who gives peace will soon crush Satan under your feet..."
God knows everything that will happen, even the bad things. Romans 8:28 promises, "We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. He appointed them to be saved in keeping with his purpose." He has a purpose even when bad things happen.
