How did God create the world?
Here's the answer:
The Bible tells us the big picture of how God created the world, but not every detail.
Genesis 1 and 2 tell us God created the world and the main areas of creation. These include the planets, light, the sky, seas, mountains, the sun, moon, and stars, plants, animals, and people. By just saying the words, God made it appear. God is the only one powerful enough to make everything around us!
Psalm 19:1 teaches that we can also learn more about the way God created the world by studying nature: "The heavens tell about the glory of God. The skies show that his hands created them." Science is very important for Christians. The more we discover about creation, the more we appreciate the design and beauty of God’s creation.
