Where did angels come from?
Here's the answer:
God made everything, including angels. Genesis 1:1 says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Since angels usually live in heaven, God probably made them when He made heaven.
We also know for sure that God made angels before He made our planet. Job 38:4-7 says, "Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you know. Who measured it? I am sure you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? What was it built on? Who laid its most important stone? When it happened, the morning stars sang together. All the angels shouted with joy."
Angels also started their work on the earth very early. After Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, God made them leave. How did He keep them from coming back? Genesis 3:24 says, "...He also placed there a flaming sword that flashed back and forth. The angels and the sword guarded the way to the tree of life." Angels were guarded the entrance!
There are millions and millions of angels (Revelation 5:11). They only appear on earth on special occasions, but we’ll definitely see them in heaven. This is where they live and worship God with all of God’s people (Revelation 5:12).
Bible Truth
"All angels are spirits who serve. God sends them to serve those who will receive salvation" (Hebrews 1:14).
"Praise the LORD, you angels of his. Praise him, you mighty ones who carry out his orders and obey his word. Praise the LORD, all you angels in heaven. Praise him, all you who serve him and do what he wants. Let everything the LORD has made praise him everywhere in his kingdom. I will praise the LORD" (Psalm 103:20-22).
