Where do you go when you die?
Here's the answer:
Where you go when you die depends on whether you placed faith in Christ or not.
When a person dies, they either go to one of two places. If a person believes in Jesus, their soul goes to Him when they die because their sins have been forgiven (2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23). Their physical body will be resurrected and glorified later (Revelation 21-22).
If a person never believes in Jesus, their soul goes to a realm of judgment when they die. In the end, unbelievers will be sent to the lake of fire.
You can go to heaven when you die if they believe that Jesus died for the bad things they have done, was buried, and rose again. God wants to have a relationship with you and welcome you to heaven when you die.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). From the moment we are born, we are born into sin and we all commit sin (Romans 3:23). Due to the sin we are born into and the sin we freely commit, we are on the wrong road. It is only by believing in Jesus that we can be forgiven of our sins.
You cannot go to heaven by doing good things or good deeds. The only way to go to heaven is by believing in Jesus. You can place faith in Jesus today by believing that He died for your sins, was buried, and rose again. If you believe in Jesus as your Savior and Lord, you will go to heaven when you die.
