Why is serving God important?

Serving God is important because it brings glory to God.
When we serve God, we bring Him glory. We also serve others when we serve God. God created us to glorify and praise Him. When we are serving Him, we are doing what God created us to do.
When we serve God, the light of Jesus shines out of us. This means people will see Jesus in our actions. How amazing is that?! Our lives can be a testimony of Jesus. When we serve God, more people will be able to see Jesus’ love for them.
Since we are Christians, we should want to serve God. Jesus died to save us and give us eternal life. It is not asking too much for us to serve Him for the rest of our lives. Serving God is fun and awesome! You can start serving Him today!

"God’s gifts of grace come in many forms. Each of you has received a gift in order to serve others. You should use it faithfully. If anyone speaks, they should do it as one speaking God’s words.
