Why are there so many religions?
Here's the answer:
There are so many religions because mankind has made up many false religions in an attempt to be made right with God.
There is only one true faith system—faith in Jesus as taught in the Bible. No other religion leads to Jesus. Other religions do not offer true salvation. Only through believing in Jesus can someone be saved (John 3:16-17). Jesus is the only way to true forgiveness and eternal life (John 14:6).
Many people don’t want to believe in the God of the Bible, so they make up their own idea of a god. They choose to follow a god they invented instead of the true God.
If you want to truly know God, He is found in Jesus.
