Why does God wait for the last minute to meet my needs?
Here's the answer:
God’s timing isn’t late, it is right on time.
Sometimes it feels like God waits for the last minute to meet our needs. Your dad may have lost his job and is having a hard time paying rent. It may seem like God forgot about you. But just in time, He provides for your family. Why?
First, it’s important to remember that God’s timing is always right. He’s never late or early. God has a plan for you and His plan is always on time.
Second, remember that God always hears your prayers. He knows your needs and He listens to your prayers.
Third, God may be teaching you to trust Him more.
In Deuteronomy 29:5-6, we learn that God provided for the Israelites as they were in the wilderness. Their clothes didn’t wear out and the sandals on their feet didn’t wear out either! God provided for all their needs.
Bible Truth
"Yet the LORD says, 'I led you through the desert for 40 years. During that time your clothes didn’t wear out. The sandals on your feet didn’t wear out either. You didn’t eat any bread. You didn’t drink any kind of wine. I did all these things because I wanted you to know that I am the LORD your God'" (Deuteronomy 29:5-6).
