What does God want us to do?

Here's the answer:

God tells us His desires and plans for us in the Bible.

The Bible is God's Word. It tells us about God and His plan for us. The Bible teaches us many things, but Jesus gave its greatest commands: "Jesus replied, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Love him with all your mind.' This is the first and most important commandment. And the second is like it. 'Love your neighbor as you love yourself'" (Matthew 22:37–39).

If we love God, we'll want to please Him by making choices that honor Him. We can only know which choices please Him by reading the Bible. Read the Bible to know God, His commands, and His plan for your life!

Sadly, you'll find that you can't always make the right choice. That's because we're all sinners (going our own way and often disobeying God). Find out what Jesus did so you can be forgiven, follow Him, and live with Him forever someday in heaven: click here.
