Did Jesus have brothers and sisters?

Here's the answer:

Yes, Jesus did have brothers and sisters when He was on earth.

God is the true and only father of Jesus, and Mary was Jesus’ earthly mother. But after Jesus was born, Joseph and Mary went on to have more children. These children became Jesus’ half-siblings.

The Bible tells us that Jesus had four brothers: James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas (Matthew 13:55). The Bible also says that Jesus had sisters; but we don’t know what their names were (Matthew 13:56).

If you’ve believed in Jesus, God has adopted you into His family. That means you’re Jesus’ spiritual brother or sister (Galatians 3:26)! When you die one day, you’ll get to live in heaven with Jesus forever.

Without Jesus, we would all get lost and not find the way to heaven. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you believe in Jesus, He will show you the way to heaven, and you will become part of His family! To learn more about the path to heaven, click here.
