Why don't some people like change?
Here's the answer:
Change can be scary for a lot of people.
Do you like change or do you avoid it at all costs? We cannot always avoid change, so sometimes we will need to be brave and face change. The good news is that we are not alone when change happens. God will be with us and we can talk to Him through prayer. He can work out both good changes and bad changes for our good (Romans 8:28).
God wants us to have an eternal perspective on life. He works through our life and He will bring about change. These changes are refining us as gold is refined by fire (1 Peter 1:7). In other words, change helps us to grow into the people God created us to be. Just like we have to physically grow up, we have to grow in our walk with the Lord.
We don’t need to be resistant to all change. Many changes can be good and bring brighter days for our future. As we face changes in the future, we need to focus on God. He is in control and He will keep us safely in the palm of His hand. By knowing this, we won’t be as scared anymore of change because our trust is in Him.
