Do we have to fold our hands to pray?
Here's the answer:
No, but folding your hands may help you focus on praying.
We don't have to fold our hands to pray. God can still hear us when we don't! But folding our hands can show respect. It also helps us concentrate on our prayers instead of playing with things. We can do whatever helps us pay attention and show respect to God. Some people like to raise their hands when they pray. Others kneel on the floor.
We can pray to God anytime and anywhere, even if our eyes are open or we're in a car. God wants our hearts to have the right attitude. He doesn't worry about how we position our hands or feet as long as our hearts are listening to Him.
