Why do we study the Bible? Can kids study the Bible?
Here's the answer:
We study the Bible to know how to live for God. Yes, kids can study the Bible.
The Bible is God’s Word and it is perfect (Psalm 19:7). We study the Bible so we can know right from wrong. When we learn what is right, God expects us to do it! James 1:22 says, "Don’t just listen to the word. You fool yourselves if you do that. You must do what it says."
Even kids can study the Bible. Josiah became the king of Israel when he was eight years old. When he heard God’s Word, he did what it said. The entire nation was blessed when he did (2 Kings 22).
The Bible tells us not to let anyone look down on us because we are young. We can set an example for others (1 Timothy 4:12). Studying the Bible is a great example.
