Will people be married in heaven?

Here's the answer:

No, there will not be marriage in heaven.

Jesus answered this question in the Bible! He said, “When the dead rise, they won’t get married. And their parents won’t give them to be married. They will be like the angels in heaven” (Matthew 22:30). This means there will no longer be marriage in heaven.

In heaven, there will be no reason for marriage. God established marriage to give man a partner and to fill the earth (Genesis 2:18). In heaven, no one will ever be lonely again so there would be no reason for marriage. Also in heaven, no more children will be born as only those who believe in Christ will enter heaven.

Marriage is a beautiful illustration of Jesus’ relationship to the church, but there will not be marriage in heaven. There will not be marriage in heaven because we will have constant companionship with God and other believers. Heaven is going to be an amazing place!
