Why did God make some people smarter than others?
Here's the answer:
God made all people unique, including you! Just because some people are smarter does not mean that God loves them more.
Some people are smarter than others, but all people are valuable to God. God has made all of us amazing and wonderful (Psalm 139:13-16) with our own unique gifts. In fact, the Bible tells us that God chooses the "foolish" and "weak" things of the world to shame the strong (1 Corinthians 1:27-29).
Just because a person is smarter than another person does not mean they are any better than anyone else. Anyone can bring glory to God despite how smart they are or how well they did on their math test. God has designed everyone with their own unique purpose and gifts to serve Him. Each person’s effort and work is important to God.
People who are smarter sometimes have a harder time trusting in Jesus because of pride. The Bible tells us that "knowledge makes people proud, while love builds them up" (1 Corinthians 8:1). You see? Knowledge makes people become proud. We shouldn’t be jealous of people who are smarter than we are. Instead, we should show love others.
