Is it important to learn what the Bible says? Why?

Here's the answer:

Yes, it is very important. John 17:17 says, "...Your word is truth." That’s why it is important to learn what the Bible says.

God’s Word, the Bible, is full of truth. No matter how many times we read and study the Bible, we will always learn something new. People who are elderly may have read through the Bible 60 times or more, but they still learn new things when they read it. As kids, you will learn new things about God and how to live your lives too.

Did you know that the Bible contains all we need to know about life? Second Peter 1:3 says, "God’s power has given us everything we need to lead a godly life..." In the Bible, God shows us how to have eternal life with Him. In fact, He tells us everything we need to know to please Him.

Bible Truth

"God has breathed life into all Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right. By using Scripture, the servant of God can be completely prepared to do every good thing" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

"Use the truth to make them holy. Your word is truth" (John 17:17).
