Why did people in the Bible reject Jesus? Do people still reject Jesus?

Here's the answer:

People in the Bible rejected Jesus because He was not the Messiah they wanted. Sadly, people still reject Jesus today.

The Jews rejected Jesus because He was not who they expected the long-awaited Messiah to be. They thought the Messiah was going to destroy their enemies. Since Jesus did not do this, they rejected Him.

People still reject Jesus today for many reasons. Some people reject Jesus because they think they do not need a savior. Others think people will be mean to them or leave them out if they accept Jesus. Still other people reject Jesus because they love the world.

We can not control if a person will accept or reject Jesus. However, we can share Jesus with everyone we know! Have you accepted Jesus? If you feel you are ready to accept Him, you can today! You can have faith that Jesus died for the bad things you have done (sin), that He was buried, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Jesus is the only true way to heaven. Learn more here!
