How did people in the Bible travel from one place to another?
Here's the answer:
Sometimes people walked and other times, they rode animals.
We’re used to traveling to other places using cars, trains, planes, and buses. These modes of transportation weren’t invented yet during Bible times. People usually walked from one place to another. If the journey was long, they might pack a tent and camp along the way.
Sometimes people rode on animals like donkeys, horses, or camels. Rich people might have chariots that were pulled by horses. There were also boats for water travel.
Bible Truth
"Eat the meat while your coat is tucked into your belt. Put your sandals on your feet. Take your walking stick in your hand. Eat the food quickly. It is the LORD’s Passover" (Exodus 12:11).
